We realize that attorneys are often hesitant to refer their clients to another firm. In order to ensure that the referring attorney’s relationship with the client will not be infringed upon, we record, remember and honor the original client relationships from our referring lawyers. At the Law Offices of Bob Nehoray, we use a color-coded filing system to accurately record the referring attorney. We also strive to keep the referring attorney fully aware of the status of the case. At the time the client is retained, the referring attorney is given the choice to either have minimal involvement in the case or to be fully associated co-counsel to keep abreast of the matter. In addition, our cloud based management system means that the referring attorney can have virtual access to the client’s file and calendar when needed.
In an effort to hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards, all referrals and fee sharing agreements are set forth in our Client Retainer and authorized by the client in writing. Therefore, you can rest assured that the Law Offices of Bob Nehoray will always honor the fee-sharing agreement with the referring attorney.
